    Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action (CASA) is a Non-profit, Voluntary Development Organisation in India working for a just and sustainable society CASA also supports local self-governance, peace and reconciliation, gender mainstreaming, sustainable livelihoods and responds to environmental issues, manmade and natural disasters.

    We seek for qualified and experienced people for the post of Programme Associate. The place of posting will be Patna. The appointment will be done on contractual basis initially for 1 year, which is renewable on yearly basis, based on the performance assessment as well as need for the project.

    Pay and benefits:
    CASA will offer monthly pay as per existing pay structure and scale commensurate with the position offered in CASA. Apart from monthly pay, benefits like contributory Provident Fund, coverage under Group Accident Insurance, Coverage under Group Medical Insurance for self and spouse, leave travel allowance etc. are also offered as per existing rules.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Degree in MSW/ Rural Development (PG in RD), Sociology (MA), Rural Development Management or similar courses.
    • Age limit between 25-35 years.
    • At least 4 years of experience working in voluntary development organisation (VDO) or non-governmental organisation (NGO) or Government organizations.
    • Sound knowledge of the context of Bihar issues, policies and CSO environment
    • Sound knowledge on project planning, management and evaluation and financial management
    • Sound knowledge of issues like governance, livelihoods, gender etc.
    • Good command over English & Hindi (speak, write & Read).
    • Sound health (to be able to work under pressure, stress, time limit and extended working hours if needed).
    • Requires traveling extensively in rural areas within the state and different parts of India.
    • Sensitive to gender needs.
    • Preference will be given to lady candidates.
    • Computer Proficiency (Email, Word, Power-point and Excel).
    • Possessing a driving license will be an added advantage &

    Church’s Auxiliary for Social Action – CASA a National voluntary organization is looking for a Programme Coordinator for its long term transformational development programme. The Programme Coordinator will be based in Salekasa, Gondia District. The responsibility is to undertake village development programmes at 30 villages in and around Salekasa Taluka, District Gondia, Maharashtra. Institution building and sustainable livelihood are the two focus areas of the programme.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Should have experience working with the community at grass root level for minimum 5 years.
    • Be able to mobilize , organize and train communities on different issues and various government programmes .
    • The person should have the capacity to conduct training and able to explain various schemes of governments and polices and help people to avail all government programmes .
    • The candidate should have the capacity to lead a team of four members to support livelihood development programmes.
    • Have good understanding on gender issues and should be sensitive to gender needs of the community.
    • Should have knowledge of accounts, report writing, computer skills in excel, word and Microsoft desirable.
    • Strong social analysis skill, communication skills, team building networking and coordination skills is desired.

    CASA is a National NGO working towards transformational development and Disaster Response. We are taking up a Drought Response Programme in Medak district of Telangana State from the 2nd week of January 2020. The project duration is 4 months. The Response aims at developing some innovative approaches in managing drought. CASA is on the lookout for people having experience in Drought Management, drive for excellence, with good knowledge on Disaster Risk Reduction on Drought.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:-

    • Mobilize community for Community Action for Drought.
    • Work on regular reporting and share with Line Manager.
    • Proper documentation of all activities being carried out.
    • Visit communities in the operational villages on a regular basis and develop community group
    • Train the community groups on Disaster Risk Reduction and Alternate Livelihood approaches
    • Distribution & Demonstration of IEC material.
    • Develop field plan consulting with the Line manager as required for the project
    • Train the Volunteers identified for the programme and the CBOs
    • Motivate community to link with government activities tor sustaining the programme.
    • Financial management of the project/Budget
    • Carrying out administrative tasks and filing documents
